How do you see print technology changing human
experiences in the future?
Print will continue to have a profound impact on
our lives as we accelerate into the future. Innovation
in print can make people’s lives more connected
and enjoyable. At HP, we aim to create devices that
seamlessly connect to your life so that you can print
whenever you want, wherever you want. Print can also
make the world around us more useful. For example,
when it comes to graphics, we use Link Technology
to give each product its own fingerprint. Whether it’s
print production control, track and trace, customer
engagement, or behavior tracking, Link enables the
visibility of each product end-to-end. You can interact
with that unique ID to learn about the product and
engage with a brand in real time.

What about 3D printing?
3D print is just beginning to take off in
production applications. HP’s new 3D print
technologies for both plastics and metals are bringing
breakthrough performance at cost to accelerate this
trend. Thanks to 3D print technology, we are able to
localize, customize, and personalize products. With
local manufacturing, new jobs are being created in new
places. We’ll also see parts that perform at a higher
level thanks to new materials and new designs.
