When it comes to selling real estate, we know that things are a little harder
to define. We know that emotion will play an important role in the process
and the way a buyer “feels” about a property will obviously influence how
much they are prepared to pay. So while there can be no guarantees,
there is the opportunity to employ proven strategies to influence the

The real estate industry has one of the highest personnel turnover rates
of any profession. I believe this is because newcomers are often poorly
chosen then poorly trained. In fact, many rookies receive little or no
training, leaving property sellers at the mercy of incompetence.
The real estate industry has to accept responsibility here. Somewhere
along the way, the selling process became a little fuzzy and unclear.
With cyclical “surges” of newcomers entering the industry, training and
education tends to take a back seat to volume selling.
