Oktoberfest is a German tradition that started back in 1810
when the citizen of Munich were
invited to attend and celebrate
the marriage of King Ludwig I
to Princess Therese of SaxonyHildburghausen. Horse races in
the presence of the royal family
marked the close of the event that
was celebrated as a festival for all
of Bavaria. The decision to repeat
the horse races in subsequent
years gave rise to the Oktoberfest
tradition. This year we, Hotel
Aryaduta Jakarta, proudly celebrate The 25th Anniversary of
Oktoberfest 2013.
