3. Use The Five-Bin System
Here is a great system to help you sort through the clutter:
Get 5 individual plastic crates. As you sort through everything, make an
instant decision and immediately place the items into one of the following
clearly marked crates:
Bin 1 – Throw Away (all broken, damaged items you no longer need)
Bin 2 – Charity (items you no longer need but are still in good condition
and others will value)
Bin 3 – Sell (Ebay, Gumtree, etc)
Bin 4 – Keep for Now (you currently use these items, need them during the
sales campaign, and can put them in cupboards so they are out of
sight)
Bin 5 - Keep for Later (these items can go into storage until you move
into your new house)
