• Create a functional seating area, like the more formal living rooms, but
add a couple of fun elements!
• Use brighter colours to define the area as more kid-friendly. Add a bold
rug, or orange cushions, or a large piece of colourful, artwork.
• You might add a couple of large, square floor cushions, to add a bit of
fun (but make sure you do not add too many and overcrowd the area.)
• This is the perfect place for a large TV – away from the ‘grown-ups
zone’. Families will love the fact that the kids have their own TV
