Also, the royal blue version is al-
most blinding in how sharp the col-

almost no wrong choice when it
comes to color on the McLaren P1,
as the car offers plenty of amazing
options.
want the car to look like, the next most
important feature is how it drives.
Again, this is not an issue with the Mc-
Laren P1. Due to the positions of the
hybrid engines, the driver sits closer
to the wheels than in other vehicles,
allowing for better control over the
vehicle. Steering the vehicle is almost
effortless, giving the driver complete

That kind of control
over the vehicle allows
you to have some fun
with the P1 when ap-
propriate. Even among
similar cars, the P1 has
incredible amounts of
torque, allowing you to
slip and slide around on

enjoying yourself. Those
high levels of torque also
come in handy when
driving at high speeds
in the McLaren P1. Ob-
viously, you always want

the one thing drivers of
sports cars want in their
vehicles is pure power, and
the McLaren P1 definitely
has plenty of that. The car
can do 0 to 60 in 2.8 sec-
onds, making it faster than
its predecessor, the F1. It’s
electronically limited not
to go any faster than 218
mph, but if you can remove
that electronic buzz kill the
P1 can reach close to 250
mph.
For a little extra accel-
eration, the P1 comes
equipped with an Instant
Power Assist System, a
feature of the F1 that has
been replicated in the P1
to produce increased lev-
els of speed. There is also
a Drag Reduction System
that can further enhance
the vehicle’s speed and
power.

Not to be forgotten with the
McLaren P1 is the view from the in-
side. To be fair, there’s not all that
much about the car’s interior that
will blow the competition away, at
least compared to other modern
sports cars, although the dihedral
doors that open upwards are some-
thing to marvel at. This type of door
is still rare in modern cars and will
