ROTARY AND FRIENDS
FELLOWSHIP DINNER
The 6th of February saw one of the
highlights of the Rotary of Royal Hua
Hin’s calendar year. A celebrated
annual event which has gathered large
popularity, the Rotary’s Fellowship
dinner for members and friends was
held with great success at the Amari
Hotel before over two hundred and
fifty people. Rotary Clubs from around
the country were present and had an
opportunity to interact with each other
at this marvelous event. Presentations
about the club’s plans and recently
accomplished endeavours were given.
The event was particularly important for
the Rotaract Club of Webster University
Thailand, as it marked the installation
of its new board members. The Rotaract
is the youth system of the Rotary club
for people aged 18 to 29. Once the
acquaintances were made, a five-star
international buffet and free-flowing
wine and beer were served to the tune of
live saxophone and guitar music. A great
end to a very enjoyable evening!
KHUN TUBTIM PREMYODHIN, HAS BEEN APPOINTED AS
MARKETING COMMUNICATION MANAGER OF THE HYATT
REGENCY EFFECTIVE
Khun Tubtim Premyodhin, has been
appointed as Marketing Communication
Manager of the Hyatt Regency effective
2 February 2015. Khun Tubtim holds a
Masters Degree in International Design
and Communication Management
from the University of Warwick, in
the UK and a Bachelor Degree in Mass
Communications from Curtin University
of Technology in Australia. She started
her career as a Management Trainee
(S&M), Corporate Assistant Marketing
Manager then as a Corporate Public
Relations Manager at Dusit International
during 2008-2011 (under Jennifer Cronin,
for those who still remember her)
responsible for local media, corporate
events and CSR programmes. Prior to
joining the Hyatt Regency Hua Hin, she
was the Marketing and Communications
Manager at the Oriental Residence
Bangkok during the pre-opening period
in 2011-2012. She then followed her
spouse who is a Thai Diplomat to Doha
during 2013-2014.
As a Marketing Communications
Manager at the Hyatt Regency Hua Hin
& THE BARAI, Khun Tubtim will also
be responsible for public relations, both
domestic and international media, digital
marketing, promotions and branding.
She will be based in the Bangkok Sales
Office with scheduled travels to Hua
Hin.
THAIWAII JUNIOR IS NOW
OPEN IN KHO TAKIAB.
Located across the street and a little
north from the Amari, Thaiwaii Jr. will
serve the same Hamburgers, pizza &
Thai food for which their Pak Nam Pran
restaurant has made them famous for.
Thaiwaii Jr. also has cocktails, beer and
wine along with live acoustic music and
occasional bands which the original
Thaiwaii is so well known for, especially
on Sunday afternoons.
