be.HOTEL have invested in a talented chef and experienced restaurant manager and this has assisted to the marvellous synergy which has been created; taking Fornelli to another level. Fornelli Restaurant: providing the guest with an ultimate experience Guests at the hotel can enjoy the convenient, but at the same time marvellous and delicious Fornelli restaurant. The restaurant is in line with the vision of be.HOTEL and attracts a (mostly) young generation of well-travelled and sophisticated guests, who expect to be tantalised by what is served to them on their plates. Fornelli is fully owned by the hotel, unlike many other hotels which choose to outsource. Debono explains that “in this way we are able to focus our full attention on our guests and their ultimate ex- perience with the good quality of food that we serve. We have also invested in a talented chef and in an experienced restaurant man- ager. They have synergised to take the restaurant to another level,” Debono explains. 48 SEPTEMBER | 2017 On future expansion In addition, the board of directors is planning on making another expansion of the hotel, in order to satisfy more clients by offering more than a 30% increase in the room stock. This will make be.HO- TEL even more attractive for the MICE and groups clients. “The additional rooms will feature even better and more modern amen- ities. And the jewel in the crown will be the new infinity pool on the 11th floor with its breath-tak- ing views of St. Georges Bay.” Hubert Debono is confident that during the term of the expansion, the guest experience will not be affected since the new floors will be added in a zone of the complex where no guests will be staying. Hubert Debono is certain and convinced that the expansion will not have a negative impact on guests because “the shopping complex is built into several blocks which will allow the guests to enjoy the time they spend with us, in peace and quiet” whilst apportioned eventual future expansions will take place, thus assuring our Group customers of higher collective capacities with- out any loss of quality. Conclusion With regards to the fact that the facility is at the doorstep of Paceville, Mr Debono says “it’s close, but it is detached”; the night-life element is right there, but it is not a necessity. At be.HOTEL, guests are not only in the heart of Malta, its pleasures and entertainment, but they are also in the good hands of a hard working and devoted team, which listens to the clients and solves their queries. be.HOTEL is striking for success in the hospitality industry, without ever forgetting how vital it is to respect the guest and meticulously provide to every need and expectations.
