With two of the five AGLOW Communicator Camps behind us, full attention is being given to the remaining three and the upcoming annual conference. Kentucky Lake CVB was host of the first event of the year which focused on turkey hunting on the beautiful Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area. There were ten outdoor writers and five corporate representatives in attendance. Each of the Media Members was able to spend valuable time in the woods with representatives and products from LOWA Boots, Nomad Outdoors, Honda Powersports, Traditions Media (Tenzing, Featherf lex, Avian X, Flextone, Zink), RAM Trucks, and the National Wild Turkey Federation. Immediately following was the AGLOW Striper Camp which was hosted by Arkansas Tourism at the beautiful Mountain Harbor Resort on Lake Ouachita. This event was also attended by ten Media Members and five corporate representatives. Traditions Media headed up sponsorship bringing Old Town Canoes and Ocean Kayaks, St. Croix, Live Target, Plano Synergy/Frabill, and Raymarine to the event. Yet to come are the Lake of the Woods Sturgeon Camp sponsored by Hobie and the Manitowish Waters Muskie Camp sponsored by Traditions Media.
