Our entry into the hybrid bay boat mar-
ket is finally here. This boat is a stunning
departure from a traditional bay boat lay-
out. We took over two years to design the
Malvado’s aggressive styling and complex
running surface, and included new fea-
tures like multiple helm options, seating
for up to 10 people, up to three baitwells
(front and back wells are standard), an
extra-large fish box, lockable rod storage,
coaming bolsters, jack plate, tons of stor-
age and an enclosed head. The under gun-
nel rod storage is even unique, accommo-
dating fully assembled fly rods.
The result is a boat with superior per-
formance, ergonomics and versatility.
Designed for both inshore and near shore
applications, the Malvado’s ventilated twin
step v-pad hull produces better speed, ef-
ficiency, stability and handling than her
competition. At over twenty-five feet long,
she is a super stable platform that handles
open bays and near shore trips with ease.
A hull draft of only 13” gives her access
to the skinny stuff, while the sharp entry
and flared bow shed water when running
in chop. The Malvado 26’ features an am-
ple front deck with storage and integrated
seating, as well as a large aft deck with
jump seats and storage. If you’re looking

Standard building materials include
high grade, uv-resistant epoxy vinyl es-
ter resin (AshlandTM AME6001), Divi-
nycellTM and/or AircellTM foam coring
combined with either PenskeTM or Coo-
saTM transom board. Hand-laid bi-axial
knitted aramid (KevlarTM) in addition to
fiberglass and carbon fiber are standard
laminate materials. The combination of
highgrade resin and superior laminates
makes Bonefish boats both light and
