Meet the President: Q: What sparked your interest in creating a magazine based on DIY wedding decor? A: I have always been a crafty person, I was making scrapbooks when I was younger and always designing new projects for my room. My dad was doing most of the handy work back then but I have always had the vision. It wasn’t until college when I was introduced to the wedding industry that I knew I needed to be involved. I started meeting great vendors and brides and found a place in the industry. However, after two and a half years with a planner I knew that planning wasn’t for me. I contemplated for months about where in the industry I could try next and then one day it clicked. Why not do what I love, in the industry that I love. With that, Homemade Bride was born.
