The City of Arlington is working with the Texas Rangers and The Cordish Companies to ensure the diversity of the workforce for both the future ballpark and the Texas Live ! development .
As part of its master agreement with the City , the Rangers have agreed to implement a plan that provides meaningful community benefits and appropriate opportunities for local companies , as well as racial and ethnic minority-or women-owned companies ( MWBE ). The Rangers , who have agreed to establish an overall goal of 25 percent use of qualified MWBE companies for the estimated $ 1 billion project , will work with a Community Advisory Committee to ensure the team achieves a diverse workforce for the design , development and construction of the ballpark

More than 6,000 baseball fans attended the 2017 Texas Rangers Fan Fest at Globe Life Park in Arlington on January 21 , 2017 , where they grabbed autographs , toured the ballpark and took photos with current and former Rangers players .

The Texas Rangers and its development partner The Cordish Companies have also agreed to use diligent efforts to purchase all goods and services from Arlington businesses whenever such goods and services are comparable in availability , terms , quality and price . PARKING NEWS
The Rangers have added two new lots , the Tacoma Lot R and the Yaris Lot S . Also new is the Premium Cash Lot inside the Camry Lot J , where 300 total spaces have been added in offseason construction . Access to these lots are : off of Stadium Drive and Sanford Street for the Tacoma Lot R , Magic Mile for the Yaris Lot S and off Randol Mill Road for the Premium Cash Lot in Camry Lot J .

The West Valet has been relocated to the North East side of the Ballpark on Road to Six Flags .
