Coming alive in the heart of Arlington’s
Entertainment District is the first phase of
Texas Live!, one of the newest sports-anchored
developments in the nation. When complete, this
phase will feature more than 200,000 square feet
of best-in-class restaurants, entertainment and
retail, a 5,000-capacity outdoor event pavilion, as
well as the Live! by Loews flagship hotel.
Construction of the $250 million world-class
development is rapidly progressing on the project
site. Approximately 54,000 cubic yards of dirt have
been moved. The project recently reached an
exciting milestone with the first steel beams going
up, which will complete the exterior structure
of the building. Approximately 1,009 tons of
structural steel will be anchored by about 10,163
cubic yards of concrete, according to Manhattan
Construction Company, leading construction of
the project with JV partner, Con-Real.
“Construction of Texas Live! is one of the most
exciting, game-changing projects with which
we have been involved,” said Wesley Weaver,
Manhattan vice president. “This project is
cementing Arlington as the premier sports,
entertainment and hospitality destination for
Texans and tourists from across the globe.”
Texas Live!, being developed in partnership
between the Texas Rangers, The Cordish
Companies and the City of Arlington, will become
a year-round, central gathering place for the
community, welcoming sports fans, visitors and
families.
The dining and entertainment space in the district
will open in 2018, with Live! by Loews scheduled
to open in 2019.

The dynamic line-up of premier
venues announced to date
include:
• RANGERS REPUBLIC, a 30,000-square-foot
family-friendly dining and entertainment
venue allowing fans unprecedented access
to the Rangers.
• LIVE! Arena, a multi-level, 35,000-square-
foot gathering place that will be the “living
room” of Texas Live!
• RLINGTON BACKYARD, a 5,000-square-

foot outdoor event pavilion expected
to host more than 250 annual events,
including concerts, charitable functions and
community events.
• PBR COUNTRY BAR, the country’s largest
PBR venue will debut at Texas Live!, marrying
an electric combination of “cowboy cool”
and big-time Texas entertainment. Its
7,000-square-foot balcony will overlook
Arlington Backyard.
• GUY FIERI, the Emmy-award winning chef,
restaurateur, author and TV personality will
launch a one-of-a-kind flagship restaurant.
• REVOLVER BREWING, a working brewery,
bar and tasting room connected to the Live!
By Loews hotel.
• OCKHART SMOKEHOUSE, a Texas family’s

smoked over Texas post oak.
