Hitch Fit Living Magazine Volume 9 - November/December 2016 | Page 3

Your truth can be the key to setting someone else free. I recently had the chance to share my personal transformation journey. The whole thing. From start to finish. It was raw, it was real, and I shared a lot of details of my story that I had been too embarrassed to talk about in the past. I struggled with emotional eating for years. I engaged in unhealthy binge eating and compulsive overeating behaviors that were wreaking havoc on my body and on my emotions. It didn't feel good. I felt like a prisoner. After sharing my story, I received a wave of emails, notes and messages from men and women alike who struggle with the same issues that I did. Sharing the story of went I went through served as a catalyst for their own personal "aha" moment! This is why I believe that sharing stories is so important. Someone out there is going through the exact same things that you have gone through, or are going through. Being open, honest and vulnerable is beneficial for you, but it's also a great way to pay it forward and help someone else too. As we enter this holiday season, a season of giving Thanks, a season of counting our Blessings, I've got to say I'm so grateful for stories. I'm grateful for my story and for every story we've had the pleasure of being a part of over the years at Hitch Fit. What is your story? Does it match up with what you want for yourself? With what you know you're capable of achieving? If it doesn't. Then it's time to start writing a new chapter. Happy Holidays to you all. God's abundance and blessings to you! "Your Story May be the Key that Unlocks Someone Else's Prison." Thank you for checking out Hitch Fit Living! We welcome your comments and feedback.
