In order to transform your body you must have a specific to you macro-nutrient focused and structured nutrition plan which I create and provide for all of my clients ! It ’ s a big lifestyle change for most . A change that has you consistently eating clean foods day in and day out so that you ’ re able transform your body into the body you want !

Clean eating is often viewed as a sacrifice or a form of torture , this comes down to changing your relationship with food to get passed those feelings but doing that is especially difficult during the fall and early winter months which are packed with holidays . Halloween , Thanksgiving , Christmas , New Year ’ s etc . All these holidays are focused on people gathering together and usually having lots of junk food and drink . However if you ’ re able to stick to your nutrition plan and training regimen then it is possible to enjoy yourself on the holidays and still stay on track with your goals !

We ’ ve all heard of and have taken part in a cheat meal . As I see it , a cheat meal is a meal where you have whatever you want and you don ' t track or even care about your macronutrient and caloric intake , which is bad and will quickly derail your progress . However if you structure in a re-feed day where you have some of the foods your appetite wants and you stay within your caloric limit and take in the proper amounts of carbs , proteins and fats that is what ’ s known as a re-feed day , and has several benefits in the physiological and mental aspects of transformation .

While eating smaller meals 5-6 times spaced apart 2-3 hours will help keep your metabolic rate higher you ’ re still going to have a slower metabolism over time while in a caloric deficit . The physiological purpose of a re-feed meal is to trick the metabolic system so it boosts your overall metabolism and restores energy levels .
