Meetings
■ EUROGROUP (19/02/18) = took place in two formats – the first part was a regular
meeting of the euro area ministers, followed by a meeting of the ministers of 27 EU
member states.
■ AGRICULTURE AND FISHERIES COUNCIL (19/02/18) = had an exchange of views on
the future of food and farming, and the role of agriculture in bioeconomy.
■ ECONOMI)C AND FINANCIAL AFFAIRS COUNCIL (20/02/18) = ministers discussed
the recommendations of a high-level group of experts on sustainable finance, and
approved guidelines for the 2019 EU budget discharge.
■ INFORMAL MEETING OF THE 27 HEADS OF STATE OR GOVERNMENT (23/02/18) =
EU27 leaders will meet informally to discuss institutional issues and the political
prioritíes of the multiannual financial framework (MMF) after 2020.
