When students began reading informational materials about life in the Middle Ages they were very interested in the topic and eager to find out more . They especially liked the heroes , knights , and castles .

The aim of the project was to discover and reveal the historical figures , highlight their impact on cultural , scientific and religious fields . These personalities are related to the history of the project partners . 4th-7th grade students made bookmarks of Jogaila ( Władysław II Jagiełło ) the ruler of Poland and Lithuania , Šventoji Jadvyga ( sw . Jadwiga Andegawenska ) the Queen of Poland and Lithuania , Šv . Kazimieras ( sw . Kazimierz ) the Grand Duke of Lithuania and the prince of Poland , Bona Sforza ( Bona Sforza d ' Aragona ) the Queen , and Steponas Batoras ( Istvan Bathory ) the ruler of Poland and Lithuania , Duke of Transylvania .
