His Heart Scribe Inspirations --May/June 2014 shows you something, it is THEN that you are responsible for it. Now at this point in time, after today's revelation, if I were to dig my heals in and say, I just cannot forgive them, then God would not be happy about that. You see, I was in fact experiencing the effects of forgiveness to a degree, but I was still not being held accountable for it by God. Therein lies the difference between someone who doesn't want to forgive, and someone who is in the process. Sometimes people just don't know and maybe it is not Gods time for them to know yet. They perhaps need to dig a little deeper and find out why they are this flat, no faith, powerless, and no inspiration (like I (Continued from page -37) have a lot to deal with. ...Yes folks, we need to have time to process this stuff, spiritually, along with mentally and emotionally. This is where some people get it wrong. They want to deal with stuff right away, they don't allow themselves time for emotional healing, realizing that it is all part of a process. In order to progress we need time to heal and time to get our head around stuff. So this morning I realized that I had been on a forgiveness "journey" with this person - it had taken a while. It took a while for me to even see that this was the reason that I was experiencing a real flat spot in my faith. For the life of me, I couldn't understand why. But now I have gained some valuable insight on this. When God knows we are ready to deal with something, it will be revealed. We might have to live with some not so nice residue and a few weeks of knowing something is not right, and be content to sit tight with no answers as to why we are uncomfortable. Sometimes we are in this place because we need to be. Why? Because we need to process all that has happened to us. And it takes time. ...Some ministers like to make people feel bad because they are not moving along as quickly as they should be. However if we are truly discerning, sometimes it is just that - people need time to get their head around stuff. But you know, THEN, once the light goes on and God did, no inspiration to write and it was really bugging me lol). As I sought God for answers and waited on Him for them, eventually when He knew I was ready to progress, I was then able to process my feelings and situation. ...So, to sum up, what I am saying is this: don't be too hard on yourself. Sometimes we just need to be patient, as we keep seeing God for the answers, if we are sincere they will truly come, and yes, even if it is with something as serious as unforgiveness. Why? Because God knows our hearts. And for those who get to this point of revelation, and dig their heals in and ignore it? Well, now you are responsible for your attitude and heart concerning your unforgiveness. I hope this helps someone! © Apostle Julie Harvey 39
