Results received to November 26 Oasis reaps dividends VICTORY in valuable Tattersalls Millions sales races for his progeny Oklahoma City and Wedding Ring helped Oasis Dream to the top of the table for leading sires of two-year-olds in Europe by prize-money. Five juvenile stakes winners, including Frankel’s half-sister Joyeuse (below), proved Oasis Dream’s position is no fluke. That tally was matched by Galileo and, perhaps less predictably, Camacho. Iffraaj, without a Group-winning two-year-old in Europe since Espirita and Wootton Bassett emerged from his record-breaking first crop in 2010, enjoyed a renaissance with Rizeena winning the Moyglare Stud Stakes and finishing second to paternal half-sister Chriselliam in the Fillies’ Mile. Paternal half-brother Hot Streak narrowly failed to add to the tally behind Astaire in the Middle Park Stakes. His tally of 29 individual stakes winners, including five who scored at the highest level in Europe – Altano, Intello, Magician, Romantica and Ruler Of The World – is 11 more than his closest pursuer Dansili. This year illustrated the worth of Derby winners at stud as Motivator, who landed the Epsom Classic four years after Galileo, finished second. Prix de Diane, Prix Vermeille and Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe heroine Treve was responsible for more than half of his progeny earnings. Oasis Dream fielded the most winners and the best winners-to-runners ratio of the leaders, while progeny of the late, lamented German colossus Monsun produced an exceptional average earnings index of £35,215.
