Are You Willing
to Pay the Price?

t is easy to be a part of the crowd, the
challenge comes when you seek to be
different and stand out from the crowd. To
be like everyone else you don’t have to do
anything, no effort is required on your part;
as long as you are living and breathing you
are part of the crowd. However, to stand out
from the crowd and become a person to be
reckoned with, there is a price to pay. This is
where many people get it wrong. They want
greatness; they want to succeed and stand
out from the crowd but are not willing to
pay the price, some don’t even know there
is a price to be paid. They assume it will
just happen. No it won’t, it must be made to
happen. To be different from the rest of the
crowd your actions must be different from
theirs. Observe those who have stood out
from the crowd and you will discover there
are things they do that the rest of the crowd
does not do. To be like them, do what they
do and you will have the same results they
have. It is impossible to have another per-
son’s results without doing what he or she
did to get those results.
Sometime last year, I was in conver-
sation with a woman and she told me it
had been prophesied that she would be as
wealthy as billionaire Aliko Dangote and
her name would be heard around the world
as his is. What I probably should have told
her at the time but didn’t (because I sensed
