PROGRAM 0900–0905 CONFERENCE OPENING Dallas Bastian | APN Educational Media 0905–0950 GENDER MATTERS IN EQUITY IN HIGHER EDUCATION Statistics show that women are accessing higher education in greater numbers than ever before in many countries. Yet complex gender inequalities persist, often in subtle and insidious ways. Bringing these to light helps to work towards greater equity for women across different fields, communities, and contexts.
