Flights: Fly to Geneva Airport (regular services from lots of UK airports) and then take the train to Lausanne and then the boat across the lake from Lausanne to Evian. Chamonix (Part 2 Chamonix to Briançon): Train: Eurostar trains run services from London St Pancras to Paris. Take RER to Paris Gare de Lyon and take train to Bellegarde. Change for train to Chamonix. Trains also from Lyon and Marseille via Bellegarde. Car: There is secure parking to leave your car in Chamonix (about 40 euros for the week), although return train journey is long. Another option is to leave your car in Chambery and for the return journey take a TGV from Bardoneccia to Chambery. Flights: Regular flights to Lyon St Exupery and then train as above. Also possible to fly to Geneva and take trains from Geneva with a couple of changes. Return: From Nevache take shuttle buses to either Briançon to take TER local trains or to Bardoneccia to take TVG to Chambery and then Paris. Briançon (Part 3 Briançon to St Etienne de Tinee): Train: Eurostar trains run services from London St Pancras to Paris, Lyon and Marseille. Overnight TGV trains to Briançon from Austerlitz station, or TGV to Valence or Lyon and Grenoble and then TER to Briançon. TER from Marseille to Briançon.
