The High Point Holidays’ Experience
10 years on from taking its first bookings,
High Point Holidays has grown from small
beginnings in the Beaujolais region to cover
walking holidays from Spain to the Jura.
However, we remain a true independent tour
operator; not part of some large company
using the name of a smaller one as a brand.
The majority of our holidays are set up or
created by us based on our principles, so we
have full control on the walking notes that
you are provided.
Our philosophy is to put together walks that
cover the best a region has to offer in all its
variety. Hence, we don’t blindly cover all the
main long distance trails. For example, on
our walk on the Jurassic Coast of Dorset, we
miss out the busy tourist town of Weymouth
to take a ridge walk along the ancient land-
scape of the Dorset ridgeway with its
tremendous views and ancient earthworks.
Quality of Service
Little has changed to High Point Holidays’ aims
and principles. From the start, the philosophy of
the company has been clear; to provide good
quality, active holidays with a commitment to
personal and flexible service whilst matching
rewarding walking holidays with a unique and
authentic local experience.
We are at your total disposal, before, during and
after your holiday, to ensure this is the case. We
also occasionally use like-minded local partners
to compliment our own representatives whether
on our walking holidays in France, England or
elsewhere.
Value for money is nothing without quality of
service. We seek to ensure customer satisfaction
with our holiday arrangements.
Value for Money
In creating our holidays we seek to match
quality with value for money in order to cre-
ate an experience that can be enjoyed on a
modest budget. Many of the holidays are full
board and all prices are based on 2 people
sharing a room, unless otherwise stated; a
single supplement being payable for single
travellers or those not wishing to share a
room.
With the exception of local transfers, travel
to the holiday destination is not included in
the holiday package, allowing you to make
your own arrangements and therefore benefit
from any low cost flights or special deals of-
fered by ferry companies.
We aim to be clear and transparent as to
what is included in the price of the holiday,

If you have any specific comments or concerns
relating to a holiday, then please don't hesitate
to contact us. In order to ensure the continued
improvement of our holidays, we kindly ask that
you complete an evaluation form at the end of
your holiday.
