Alpine Adventure Part 1: Lake Geneva to Chamonix The 1st stage of the GR 5 long-distance trail that runs from Lake Geneva to Nice, following the length of the French Alps. Part 1 crosses the alpine meadows of the Abondance Valley before meandering along the foothills of the Chablais mountains.
