Meet Ashleigh: USQ Resident Advisor, Student Ambassador, Meet-Up Leader, Residential Colleges Intern and Bachelor of Science Student; there is no denying that she has a knack for making the most of every opportunity along with exceptional time management skills. When asked, what drives her passion for study, Ashleigh says, 'Through education, my passion for the environment has thrived. My passion for the environment started during my childhood as a result of my Indigenous Heritage. I was always told that we do not own the land, that land owns us and we need to replenish the resources we use.' There is no stopping this highly motivated and passionate student in her endeavors to 'teach different Australian communities the importance of preserving the environment' in the future. 15 questions with Ashleigh 1. The best advice I have ever received: You need to fail before you can succeed. 2. If I hadn’t gone to uni I would have: Went into the banking industry 3. The thing that made me study was: Wanting to develop the skills needed to be able to chase my dream. 4. The 3 emoji’s that describe me best: 5. If I could have dinner with anyone it would be: Beyoncé. 6. My all-time favourite study snack is: Chocolate! 7. The greatest challenge of studying is: Balancing social and study life. 8.
