USQ Aiki Jutsu Club offers members training in the samurai art of Aikijutsu. It is a traditional and holistic martial way (Budo) of develping skills, mind and heart to bring about peace and harmony within self as well as with one’s environment. Why was the club started? It is the club’s hope that Aiki Jutsu can bring to members the opportunity to promote self development, self defence capability, health, fitness, the ability to successfully manage stress, as well as a better understanding of Japanese culture and the traditional meaning of martial arts. What is the club planning to achieve this year? USQ Aiki Jutsu Club intends to organise the following activities/ events in 2016: 1. ‘Samurai Movie Night’ in partnership with USQ Cinephiles Anonymous Club. 2.
