IN ANTARCTICA
TO 35o
AT USQ
Many new students started their first
semester of university study in February
this year. Among them was Aaron who,
after working as an electrician for
12 years in some of the most amazing
parts of the world, is now immersing
himself in studying an Associate Degree
of Engineering (Electrical and Electronic
Engineering) full-time.
We caught up with Aaron to find out
what it was like working and living
at Davis Station in Antarctica for 13
months and how he’s adapting to the
Queensland heat now he’s back home.
