Julie is still working as the Chief Development Officer at
Robogals Global, where she recently attended a conference
for the Asia Pacific Region in Sydney over 3 days, which 100
people from around Australia, New Zealand, Japan and the
Philippines attended. In December, Julie will be heading to
Cambodia for a few weeks as part of a design summit run by
Engineers without Borders. ‘I was selected through an application
process and will go over to learn more about Cambodian communities
and participate in designing solutions to problems within the community.
I am very excited about the trip, not so much about all the needles I need
to go there!’

‘Since my feature, I’ve completed my second-to-last semester
at USQ, watched re-runs of Family Ties; spoke about my Turkey
trip at the Vicdeaf AGM, cleared out my wardrobe; forgot to
do the Christmas shopping, consumed far too much coffee,
stressed about my final assessments, met RJ Mitte (of Breaking
Bad fame), started a new job, wrote my first short play and added
items to my ‘To Do’ list for my impending holiday to New York.’

Ell Sachs, Lucy Fox and Laura Trennerry
‘Edinburgh Fringe Festival blew us away. It was one of the
most incredible, fun and challenging things we have done.
To be surrounded by so many artists, solos, companies, street
performers and musicians slogging it out for one month was a
truly memorable and rewarding experience. Since Edinburgh, we have
been trotting around the UK and Europe getting The Travelling Sisters
name onto people’s lips and into their minds. Lucy is now in France
studying at Ecole Philippe Gaulier, soaking up all the knowledge and
antics of the infamous clown guru Philippe. Laura and I are currently living
in Bristol performing here and there at cabaret nights. We are currently
planning and booking The Travelling Sisters tour for next year. Exciting
things are on the horizon!’ - Ell Sachs
