USQ ACHIEVEMENTS
Let’s celebrate some of the incredible achievements of our
USQ alumni and current students in their professional careers!
Congratulations to Professor Wang and his team, who
successfully secured an ARC grant of $340,000, which
will allow them to employ extra research staff and PhD
students to develop a geopolymer-based green cement
and enable the construction industry to decrease its
reliance on Portland cement.
Congratulations to USQ researcher Dr Jenny Ostini,
who has been named as one of 10 inaugural Advance
Queensland Community Digital Champions by the
Queensland Government.
Congratulations to USQ student and Digital Intern Rachel
Tapscott whose short film Only in the Half Pipe took out
Best Technical Entry in the Open Category of the Ipswich
Film Festival for Youth
