What is the program about?
Phoenix Leaders are current USQ students who work with USQ Phoenix Central
to welcome new students during Orientation and throughout Semester 1, 2016.
They are responsible for assisting with Orientation activities, helping run social and
sporting activities, providing new students with hints and tips, giving campus tours,
and performing other event related tasks. Becoming a Phoenix Leader not only looks
great on your resume, it also provides a great opportunity for you to have a positive
impact on the learning journey of new USQ Students.
What will USQ provide?
• You will be paid an attractive casual pay rate
• Uniform (which you will wear when representing the University)
• Full training (training is a compulsory condition of employment and will occur in
mid February 2016)
• Acertificateattheendofyourcontractinrecognitionofyourperiodofservice
What do we ask of you?
• A minimum GPA of 4
• Reliability and commitment
• Positive attitude and good presentation
