uni life APPLE WATCH apple.com.au As someone who has always been one upgrade behind the latest technology, the chance to be in touch with my generation was one I couldn’t pass up. Despite barely ever wearing a watch before, Apple has provided me with more than just a flashy timepiece. Pairing with my phone using Bluetooth, I have access to so much right there on my wrist. Without having to take my phone out of my pocket, I can read emails, text messages, Facebook messages, scroll through Instagram, check the latest sports scores and even get directions through maps. Where I think the Apple Watch can benefit students is the motivation to use the more ‘boring’ apps. Prior to the watch, I hadn’t used the calendar and reminder apps at all, but now I’m happy for any reason to receive another notification. Now I’m finding myself more organised and don’t have to cancel plans with friends because ‘I forgot I was busy.’ My favourite thing about the Apple Watch is the looks I get when I’m answering a call on it, as if I’m working for the FBI, and yes, I have played this up a bit in publi
