Tessa is the manager of the Career Development
team in Student Services.
What does your role involve?
I work with the Career Development team
to ensure we are helping students with their
career decision making and supporting them
in developing their employability skills
What is one thing you wish students knew?
It is important to become an active
participant in your career development
journey at all times, whether you are first
year or post-graduate. USQ offers many
programs and events for students to develop
their graduate attributes and employability
skills in conjunction with their academic
studies.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I enjoy exploring Toowoomba and nearby
locations, particularly national parks for
camping and hiking.
What is your favourite quote?
