We are incredibly proud of USQ alumni Stephen
Brodie and Craig Wilkinson, whose theatre
company Optikal Bloc received a Gold and Silver
award at the annual Matildas. Well done lads!
USQ Student Kelly Hooker was one of many
students who took part in The World’s Greatest Shave
in March. She surpassed her fundraising goal and
donated $2500 to the Leukaemia Foundation.
A massive congratulations to all of the students who
graduated in Kuala Lumpur in March. We are so
proud and can’t wait to see where your degrees take

USQ alumna Gitie has been named Woman of the
Year by the Zonta Club of Toowoomba. As president
of the Toowoomba Multicultural Society, Gitie is also a
state finalist in the Australian of the Year awards. Go
get ‘em Gitie!
