Tracie, whose mob (Yuin) are originally from the Merimbula area, was the first person in her family to attend university. In addition to studying full-time, Tracie also worked on-campus at Fraser Coast as the campus’s Student Relationship Officer (Indigenous), was involved in the pilot and follow up planning of an Indigenous youth enrichment initiative in the Wide Bay, tutored other uni students as part of the Indigenous Tutorial Assistance Scheme (ITAS), ran Murri Meet Up sessions on-campus and was nominated by her peers as Student Representative Committee Indigenous Student Representative.
