‘ It ’ s been four years since I took a leap of faith and made the decision to make acting my full-time career . It has given me a medium to explore myself and be in the constant pursuit of excellence to improve my craft ’
dream come true . This sums up the importance of these influences in my life as an individual and an artist .
Family life – where and when did you meet your wife , how long have you been married and what in your view makes for a solid family structure .
I met Maryam 20 years ago through some of our mutual friends . We ’ ve been married for the last ten years . She ’ s been through thick and thin with me and is a catalyst for instilling a belief in myself , at so many levels . A fair amount of my progress and credit for my success goes to her as well . We are all influenced by our environment and she has been one of the most positive influences in my life .
What are some of your favourite activities with family – immediate and extended ?
For the past two years , due to constant travelling to Karachi for work , whenever I ’ m at home in Lahore , I try to spend as much time with my family , especially my son Zaviyar . He remains the greatest source of inspiration for me and my time with him create the most beautiful and pure moments preserved in my heart .
Since I was four-years old , I would watch a different Amitabh Bachchan movie taken from my parent ’ s library day in , day out – so interesting conversations with my parents regarding my work , whenever I visit them . I inherited a love for films from them , for music from my sister and for sports from my brother .
If you were asked to make a speech about wealth and success , what are the two important points you would make ?
Firstly , I ’ d say take a look at your game plan if it is not loaded with massive action : Change it ! My second point would be : Pick up an idea – follow it up with action . Success and wealth are not something you pursue ; you attract them by becoming that attractive person . The key is you !
Where do you see Emmad Irfani in the next five years ?
Life is a collection of experiences and change is constant . When you set goals you take charge of that change . I have many goals to accomplish and I believe , I can .
What draws you to the sartorial aesthetic of Ideas Man by Gul Ahmed ? What are the three must have items from their collection that you have in your wardrobe ?
Ideas Man moves with the trends and times and that is something that draws me towards their ideology . It carries my style statement in a subtle and classic manner . Right now , in this weather , the must-have item , I really feel comfortable in are the T-shirts , shorts and linen shirts from their latest summer collection .
As the face of Ideas Man , can you share what kind of personality you are reflecting on this platform ?
Ideas Man by Gul Ahmed is synonymous with grace and quality that positively accentuates my personal style which is classic and suave .
