KEYS High School On October 26, the Tarrant County Small Business Association brought the county Sherriff’s department to visit with KEYS High School students during lunch. The students received unlimited pizza, but the highlight of the day was the time to interact candidly with community professionals and law enforcement. These visitors gave KEYS students a new perspectives, and each interaction reinforced that individuals in the community care about our students’ future. Many students discussed career choices with officers and business owners. A week later, when two students took their traditional graduation walk, one of the officers even came back to visit and celebrate their accomplishments. This type of positive interaction with community members and law enforcement generates good will and fosters greater trust among our youth.
