Lockheed Martin Engineers visited North Euless
Elementary 5th graders during Engineers Week. The
engineers discussed the importance of science,
technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
Dr. Jyoti Gupta, Principal of Delhi Public School in Ghaziabad, India
(DPSG), spent a Wednesday morning on the campus of Central Junior
High. The visit coincided with HEB ISD signing a Memorandum of
Understanding with DPSG. This agreement will provide our students with
new ways to grow their knowledge of Hindi and life in India.
The 5th annual Introduction to Design Engineering and Analysis Seminar (IDEAS) Science Day was held at the Buinger CTE
Academy on Saturday, February 4. Almost sixty 6th-12th grade students attended, with support from 31 volunteers!
The Bedford Junior High staff showed off their college colors to promote post-secondary education. Students get to see where
the teachers attended school, and every teacher’s school is represented in a giant collage in the library.
