HEB ISD STUDENT SHOWCASE
The inaugural event was held Saturday , March 4 , 2017 at the Buinger Career and Technical Education Academy , and drew over 4,000 guests from around the community . The mission of this event was to showcase student learning in action , and it was a grand slam ! Check out some of the day ’ s highlights !
As a celebration of diversity , guests indicated their place of birth on the world map .
The photo booth theme was “ Beginning with the End In Mind .” Guests posed with their graduation year and created a keepsake item with their printed photo and custom frame .
Engineering students showed off their creative talent through various robots , vehicles , and structures .
The International Business Initiative exhibit was rich with history , art , and music . Students performed a popular motivational song in Hindi called “ We Will be Successful .”
