Trinity High School
New Students to Trinity High School
Submitted by Jennifer Waldschmidt, Trinity Student
Trinity High School prides itself on
diversity, and it shows on the first
day on campus. Being a Trojan is
a unique experience, especially
for students coming from far away
locations.
Leata Kisena moved from
Oakland,
California.
She
mentioned that THS moves faster
but also offers more opportunities
for students. “I like it here because
it is fun and different. Surrounding
myself with different people helps
me open up and be open minded
in class,” Leata said. Even though
she’s new to Trinity, she has already found interest
in basketball, volleyball and Hindi.
Pragyan Pouda, who relocated
from Nepal, sees differences
between his old school and his
new one. “I like that there’s not
only one building, so we can get
fresh air and walk outside,” Pouda
said. “I am also excited to take up
soccer and join the school’s team.”
Students, whether from far
away or from local junior highs,
embrace the school atmosphere.
“The school is really diverse and
everyone tends to be independent
but unified at the same time,”
Amari Mapp said. “I like the
classes because teachers give us what we need to
succeed.”
L.D. Bell High School
Paving the Path to Success
L. D. Bell High School is a great place
to prepare students for college, careers,
and life after high school. Students can
participate in many activities to explore
their interests and sharpen their skills.
Established in 1957, the hallways of L.D.
Bell have been home to many students
and teachers. Many of our current faculty
members are former students who have
returned to serve their alma mater.
These special alumni along with other
dedicated faculty and staff make it their
responsibility to ensure that all Raiders
receive a quality education within a strong
learning environment.
