cooperation, and perseverance.
Each six weeks focuses on a different character trait

Stonegate Elementary
• Greeting each other with high-fives and
handshakes
• Disengaging stress through breathing activities
• Connecting by saying our pledges
As students pour through the doors of our school
each morning we want each and every one of them
to know they are welcomed, safe, and that they are a
significant part of the Stonegate family.
We have incorporated many skills from our Conscious
Discipline training to build and foster a very positive
school culture and environment. We begin each
morning in the gym with our Stonegate Huddle.
Teachers, students and staff gather together to unite
by:
• Celebrating birthdays and Star Stallions
• Making a commitment each day to give 100%
towards being our best
We dismiss from the Stonegate Huddle and students
and teachers hold morning meetings with their
class. It is so important that everyone at Stonegate
Elementary feels valued, respected, and empowered.
We are definitely Better Together!
