What are your plans for the holiday break? 22 Yassir Abduljalil 12th grader at BCTEA & Trinity High Getting to meet so many new people! Completing my 4,000-word extended essay for the IB program. It was a great feeling to accomplish that project. They help to inspire the next generation. Teachers have a big responsibility to engage students every day, and make us want to truly listen and pay attention to every word they say. I like math because there is always a certain and specific answer. I really enjoy biology and the things I am learning will benefit my career in a major way. I want to become an EMT so I can help people. Spend time with my family and hopefully enjoy some colder weather! (Editor’s note: This interview took place on quite a warm day in late October.) After my experience in clinical rotation, I decided I want to become a pediatric surgeon. I got to see and experience a lot of amazing things. I will be attending an engagement party for my cousin in Canada, and then we will have family coming down to visit from California.
