Wilshire Elementary
Vocabulary and Book Character Parade

Wilshire’s annual vocabulary and book character
parade took place in October and was a hit with a
record number of participants!
Each grade level had a different assignment for
students. Grades PK– 2nd dressed up as
book characters, while 3rd– 6th graders
chose a particular vocabulary word with a
festive costume to match. Teachers also
participated with their own vocabulary
costumes including themes such as:
lethargic, book worm, alliteration, fragile,
and so much more.
