HYSJ is a new Norwegian interior styling and graphic design company founded by
two talented designers; Jeanette Lunde and Hilde Mork. Their enthusiasm for one
another is infectious, but how do two such close friends collaborate effectively to create
a successful business?
Jeanette & Hilde
Both Hilde and Jeanette are award winning
freelance graphic designers, interior stylists
and photographers. Jeanette, who was crowned
Interior Talent of the Year 2012 by Elle Decoration,
studied graphic design at Westerdals in Norway.
She worked in a graphic design studio before
finally deciding to go freelance. Hilde has a similar
story. She studied graphic design in England
which led to her becoming a partner at a graphic
design firm. However, she too decided to follow
her heart and become freelance.
We finally met up again a year later and the
magical journey started! It was like finding a soul
mate both in our professional way of working and
in our private lives,” Jeanette explains.
It quickly becomes apparent the pair are not shy of
singing each other’s praises.
Jeanette about Hilde: “Hilde has the ability to make
everyone feel special, so cordial and kind. She is
honest and I know I can trust her, and she is the
best graphic designer I know!”
Like many modern relationships, the pair’s Hilde about Jeanette: “Warm and patient, and very
friendship blossomed online. A little unorthodox talented. Tasteful in everything she does - and a
perhaps for business partners, but it worked for big heart.”

our first meeting!” they exclaim. “We originally
met in Oslo at a blog event.
