Mulled Cider
2 litres of cider
4 cloves
2 star anise
Juice of 1 clementine
Juice of 1 orange
Juice and seeds of 1 pomegranate
1/4 nutmeg, grated
2 cinnamon sticks
1/2 vanilla pod
3 tbsp of caster sugar to taste
• Pour the cider into a large
saucepan and heat.
• Add the spices and fruit juice.
Bring to the boil and simmer for
5 minutes over a low heat.
• Add the sugar to taste, serve
and enjoy.
