ORGANIC GREEN SMOOTHIE

2 ripe organic bananas, peeled
1 ripe organic apple (peeled if desired)
2 cups chopped kale or spinach, tough stems removed
½ cup cold organic freshly squeezed orange juice
½ cup cold filtered water
1 tablespoon raw honey (optional, or adjust based on desired sweetness)
1 Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor.
2 Pulse a few times, then purée until smooth, scraping down the sides
as necessary.

Young kids will devour
this, no problem!
If you have difficulty with older kids and
green goodness, perhaps allow them
to make it with you so they know what's
going in. Try it without the green stuff
first or add a teaspoon of cacao/cocoa
(omit the OJ if doing this) and you have a
choccy smoothie that they can't say no to!
