OD Magic Maca RAW MACA COCONUT APPLE PROTEIN BARS ½ cup pumpkin, sunflower or squash seeds ½ cup chia seeds By Melissa from Integrative Nutritional Therapies | Makes 9 bars 1 tablespoon coconut oil 1    Pulse seeds, pecans, maca and coconut flakes in food processor. ¹/³ cup raw pecans 2    Remove and place in a small bowl. ½ banana, mashed ½ large apple, cored and peeled 3    Using same food processor bowl, blend banana, apple, coconut oil and dates until smooth. 4    Add pulsed seeds and all remaining ingredients to the bowl. 5    Mix quickly with food processor before shaping mixture into small bars. ½ cup unsweetened shredded coconut flakes 6    Store in fridge for optimal hold of shape. 2 medjool dates, pitted 7    Freezer version: place the bars on a parchment paper lined plate and stick in the freezer for 10 minutes to firm up.
