Annual "A Round to
Remember" Golf Classic
The 5th annual A Round to
Remember Golf Classic will be held
Saturday, June 18 at the Connemara
Golf Course in Nicholasville,
Kentucky. This event is hosted by
local golfer Paul Bimschleger and
his children – Dave, Curt and Chris
Bimschleger. The Bimschleger family has raised over $118,000 for the
Alzheimer’s Association in honor of
Paul’s wife, Patricia, who they lost to
Alzheimer’s disease in 2011.
“The Bimschleger family became
involved with the Alzheimer’s
Association after our beloved mother passed away from Alzheimer’s
after a seven year battle with this
debilitating disease,” said Dave
Bimschleger. “In memory of our
mother, our family decided to initiate A Round to Remember Golf
Classic. Our mother enjoyed golf and
our family’s mission is to raise funds
to be used to continue research to
find a cure and to support families
currently living with Alzheimer’s disease. We hope to raise over $50,000
this year.”
