Editor, Health&Wellness Magazine
Mental health is a topic that affects
all of us. An important part of our
overall health and wellness revolves
around the state of our psyches. We
should work as hard to keep our
minds fit and sharp as we do to keep
our bodies moving and strong.
In this month’s issue, we will learn
about different aspects of mental
health, including how to cope with
post-traumatic stress disorder
and the mental health benefits of
gardening. After being stuck inside
during the recent record-setting
snowstorms, I can imagine many
of you are more than ready to get
outside into the sunshine and start
planting flowers, which always bring
a smile. But before you do, don’t
neglect your spring-cleaning chores;
we offer you some quick tips on how
to make the task less burdensome.
April is Autism Awareness Month,
and one of our articles will let you
know about recent breakthroughs
and insights into this troubling
syndrome. Pull out your SmartPhone
and download some mental-healthenhancing apps that are available.
Our ongoing wish for you is to
have a strong, healthy body. Let us
now extend that wish to your mental
health and wellness.
