Interview OpheliaYung Ho Wang 1. How does path of healing happen to you? How you became a Hypnotherapist? How was your experience? I used to suffer from chronic body pain, depression, anxiety and passive suicidal thoughts as a result of excessive stress from graduate schools and work. I was a shopaholic to cope. I tried medications, counseling, acupuncture, herbs, physical therapy, chiropractic and eventually a long break to travel. All those helped temporarily but when my marriage began to fall apart, nothing worked and I started to seek holistic healing. Those healing modalities did help a lot to deepen my self-understanding and link the underlying, unresolved feelings to the present suffering. Among all the modalities I felt the most connected with hypnotherapy. When I reached a point in life having the thirst to help others and feel more fulfilled, I decided to take professional hypnotherapy training to become a hypnotherapist.
