James Martin is back in our Saturday mornings on TV
and has new ranges for your table, worktop and hob
ames Martin does not mess around. Since the last time we checked
in on him in issue three of Kitchen, he has set up a new purpose-
built cookery school and dining complex at Chewton Glen hotel,
had two TV and cookbook “Adventures” in France and America,
embarked on an 18-date tour of the UK with his live cookery show
and has made a triumphant return to our TV screens at a day and
time he’s made his own – in Saturday Morning with James Martin
on ITV.
He’s also been busy collaborating with some of kitchenware’s
finest brands on new ranges. Iconic tableware company Denby
have worked with him to create collections that are both fun and
functional. There’s a selection of gadgets and kitchen electricals
with Wahl. While Stellar have partnered on the James Martin
Cookware Range with the nation’s favourite chef. As ever where
James is concerned, you can expect accessibility and excellence.
“I’ve always tried to cook great, simple grub for normal people,”
he says and these two recipes and his new ranges fit that noble
idea perfectly.
